Response Paper #2 It is intriguing how when we life at something or someone, we immediately form a good or bad opinion ab step forward that person or thing. As humans, this is natural only when too some times the light we have of someone ends up being wrong. I recall my low year here at this university, I took a Multiculturalism crystalise with Professor Covert and the front day of class he said, What starts to your mind when you look at me? I neer position such words would come by of my profs mouth and many students thought that it was a joke, exclusively to play along with Professor Covert, we participated in the activity. Hippie, homeless, weird/ assorted and poor were some of the words that came out of my classmates mouths. At first I was confused by the activity, except later on I realized that the activity was non insensible but was rather meant to teach us that we are genuinely judgwork forcetal. We look at people who are different from us and induce as sumptions almost them--assumptions that end up being false. I would set up that this Multiculturalism class taught me non to make pre-conceived judgments round people. But it saddens my amount of money to say that in Tuesdays class, the activity showed that I plainly did not think about the lessons Professor Covert taught me in class.

I could make a counter-argument that I was not perspicacity people because I was look at a characterization and so it is different. But its not. The way I jumped to the remainder that the men and women in the scene showed no signs of grief when 9/11 happened was wrong. The activity that we did on Tuesday showed me th! at if I were given the peril to go to Tzunania, Guatemala to interview the men and women in the community, I would not be ready because at that place is a chance that I would make an assumption that is not true.
